Dr Mrs Efunbo Dosekun (Nigeria)

A pediatrician by profession worked in the United Kingdom. Whilst looking after her 4 children, she managed 2 challenged children. Unfortunately, she lost one, returned to Nigeria, lost her husband and still continued in her passion for saving lives of children especially Neonatal care. Her outreach Medical services delivers acute secondary care in high density areas in Lagos namely Festac Town, Okota, Satellite Town, Agege and Osapa, Lekki .

Nana Esi Bray (Ghana)

Nana is a hardworking and goal driven young lady, who ventured into the healthcare sector with little medical knowledge and has excelled in managing the entire operations of a clinic. She did same in the real estate sector for 3.5 years and has a promising future ahead of her.

Caroline Peters (South Africa)

Award Categories: Amazon

Caroline Peters is phenomenal. She is a survivor of a gang rape at 16 years old. She later reclaimed the space (a local park) where the rape happened, and started running. The running healed her physically and mentally, but this extract from an article explains why she is an Amazon: "In 2014, in the year of her 50th birthday, Peters made history. She became the first woman to start a running club in Cape Town. Initially it was called Bridgetown Athletics Club, but then Peters changed the name to Nantes Athletic Club.

Nthabiseng Serite (South Africa)

A truly gifted individual who rose above the setbacks that she encountered. Despite being in a field dominated by males, she persisted, the whole time staying focused on her objectives. She is always looking for more efficient and effective ways of working. Nthabiseng's giving heart renders her an empathetic individual, always willing to help those less fortunate. Nthabiseng Serite is the CEO of Serite Engineering who has done extremely well for herself and many others.

Opeoluwa Ike (Nigeria)

The group started 5years ago by Mrs opeoluwa ike ,to cater for the mental health and general wellbeing of women ,to organise empowerment programmes and skills acquisition to educate wives and mom by organising seminars. lectures ,symposium, workshop and etc that will be benefit for them and also to encourage our economy and promote business among members.

Koketso Rathumbu (South African)

Koketso Rathumbu is a BA Corporate Strategic Communications graduate at the University of Johannesburg and currently a BA Hons Social Behavioural Studies in HIV Student at the University of South Africa . She is the former secretary of the SANAC Civil Society She Conquers executive committee and a well versed advocate for the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of adolescent girls and young women, youth as well as members of the LGBTIQ+ community. She is an international exchange programme (ISEP) alumni at Thompson Rivers University in Canada, British Columbia and is very passionate about global and social issues.

Joko Abebe (Nigeria)

Bolajoko Abebe is a business woman with a solid history of achievement in managing multiple business ventures. With over 20 years experience as a business owner, she started off with selling leather goods (shoes and bags,). She also set up another business as a supplier of gift items. She is hardworking and has always been a true friend. She has been a woman advocate for ages. She is Bold and she believes in the empowerment of women. Presently, she owns a Bottled Water production company, Cephil Drinks Limited, a household name in Nigeria.

Dr Elewechi Okeke (United Kingdom)

Award Categories: Virtuous Woman

Elewechi is the epitome of the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31 in the Bible. Even whilst supporting the family, she was able to establish an NGO, Book Aid for Africa, that is a UK registered Charity. The Charity has been sending books to different countries in Africa for nearly 15 years. Elewechi survived a rare form of breast cancer and is an award-winning author. She has published 12 non-fiction books, three of which have won awards. Elewechi is a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, who always puts the interests of others before hers.

Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II)

Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; is the 51st and current Ooni of Ife. He is the traditional ruler/monarch of the Yoruba kingdom of Ile-Ife. He acceded to the throne in 2015 succeeding the deceased Oba Okunade Sijuwade. who was the 50th Ooni of Ife. He has supported a lot of women by empowering them through skills and acquisitions.
